We're hiring on behalf of a well-capitalised, fast-growing lender in the property finance space – and they’re on the lookout for a commercially savvy Business Development Director to join their front-office origination team.
If you’re experienced in development or bridging finance, have strong broker relationships, and love deal-making – this is your opportunity to take a senior role at a nimble, high-performing business that values autonomy, impact, and innovation.
What You'll Do:- Originate property finance deals via brokers and direct borrower relationships.
- Structure competitive yet compliant development and bridging loans.
- Lead negotiations and prepare indicative terms.
- Manage the transaction from enquiry through to handoff to underwriting.
- Collaborate with Analysts, Credit, and Finance teams.
- Conduct initial due diligence on borrowers and assets.
- Own and update your live pipeline, providing regular insights to management.
- Attend industry events and offsite meetings with introducers and borrowers.
- Experience in development and/or bridging finance.
- Strong network of brokers, introducers, or property developers.
- Confident in structuring deals and managing client expectations.
- Solid understanding of credit policy, risk, and compliance.
