My client is seeking a skilled SAP EWM Functional Consultant to bring deep functional expertise, strategic insight, and hands-on configuration experience to our dynamic team. In this key role, you'll act as the critical link between business stakeholders and technology, leveraging your knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management to deliver impactful solutions across the enterprise.
From leading functional design and solution architecture to resolving complex incidents and mentoring team members, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of my client's supply chain systems.
As the SAP EWM Functional Consultant, you will provide functional expertise, guidance, presentations and leadership on leveraging the capabilities of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to business stakeholders as part of a team.
- Act as a key liaison between business key users and the technology team for investigating, analysing and implementing SAP business solutions (including documenting and mapping business requirements, analysing processes, identifying business change gaps and developing the necessary SAP configuration modifications to satisfy business needs).
- Produce end-to-end solutions for new and existing projects (blueprints, gap analysis, functional specifications, build and test management etc.).
- Support Incident and Request process ensuring calls are resolved in an appropriate time according to their priority.
- Able to investigate issues from a technical perspective, using trace/debugging tools to identify root cause for problems and subsequently fix the underlying issues.
Essential:
- Experience of going end to end on various warehouse processes e.g. gathered requirements, configured EWM to meet those requirements, set up the relevant EWM master data objects that would be required, tested what has been configured and supported the business once live.
- Strong configuration and testing skills in the area of SAP EWM, preferably including Transportation Management (TM).
- Demonstrated track record of thought leadership in SAP EWM.
- Strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, high level of proficiency in design, configuration and testing of core EWM modules.
- Business process analysis and redesign experience.
- Ability to produce high quality functional specifications and work collaboratively with functional teams, Basis and developers to build, test and support those developments.
