Transport Shift Supervisor Dagenham Up to £38,000 + benefits A wonderful opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join a leading 3PL in the Dagenham area. This multi-drop operation calls for a self-motivated individual with supervisory experience gained within a busy transport function. Working closely with the senior transport management team, you will ensure a customer-centric and financially efficient operation is maintained. Key Responsibilities: * Allocate fleet and crews to correct routes * Ensure pre-brief and de-briefings are undertaken for all transport movements. * Manage driver performance * Manage drivers’ hours in line with working time legislation * Ensure relevant information is recorded for transport KPIs Key Skills/Experience: * Previous experience of multi-drop deliveries * Good knowledge of transport legislation * An understanding of current H&S legislation * Transport Manager CPC is desired but not essential In effect, we seek a strong transport operator who knows what needs to happen within the transport function and knows what to do to make sure it does.
