Interim Financial Analyst / Project Accountant (Part Time) 18-Month Contract | Immediate Start An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Interim Financial Analyst / Project Accountant to join a major transformation programme within a fast-paced organisation. This 18-month contract is available on a 3-day-a-week (part-time) basis and would suit a junior analyst or an assistant accountant who is used to dealing with high volumes of data. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate recording and reporting of project-related timesheets and resource allocations Analyse project costs and cost base allocations to identify variances and help prevent overspend Work closely with the transformation team to track and capture all budget data Monitor spend against budget, highlighting risks and opportunities in a timely manner Maintain and manage large volumes of financial and operational data with accuracy Use Excel extensively for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting About You: Early-stage or part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or similar) with a background in finance or entry-level analysis Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, methodical approach Enthusiastic about moving into a more analytical role within a project environment Good communication skills and comfortable liaising with finance and non-finance stakeholders This is a fantastic development role for someone looking to build analytical skills and gain hands-on experience supporting a large-scale transformation
