CNC Service Engineer

CNC Service Engineer A role has arisen for an experienced and multi-skilled CNC Service Engineer who no longer wants to travel. This role is based in the factory of a large CNC machinery and robot automation supplier. You will also be trained on automated robot cells. The role requires an experienced multiskilled CNC Service Engineer (or multiskiled CNC maintenance engineer) Working on brand new CNC machines No travel No staying away 38 hours weekThe role involves installing, testing and running up new CNC machines and robot automation solutions before being dismantled and shipped to the customer. Package To £45K 25 days holiday Company bonus Pension, private medical The Role Install and run up CNC machines and robots in factory and showroom Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work Run up the machines, configure programs Carry out test procedures and document findings Write SOPs Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm Friday 8:30am – 3:00pmRequirements Modern Apprenticeship level 3 engineering – essential Electrical knowledge essential Fault finding, reading engineering drawings Knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain – essential You will likely CNC service engineer, or CNC maintenance engineer at a manufacturer with lots of CNC machines.
