We are currently seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Co-ordinator to join our dynamic Maintenance Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a team of skilled technicians and play a key role in the continuous improvement of our plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of multi-skilled maintenance technicians to ensure the effective upkeep and repair of all plant equipment.
- Develop, implement, and manage a best-practice maintenance program focused on proactive scheduling, preventative and predictive strategies.
- Drive reductions in Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
- Conduct root cause analyses using 5 Why methodology to resolve significant equipment breakdowns.
- Actively support and monitor Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
- Plan and execute maintenance days, balancing routine servicing with improvement activities.
- Contribute to increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by minimizing unplanned downtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory efficiently to ensure availability while controlling costs.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and leadership to the maintenance team.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety standards at all times.
- Mentor and support the development of apprentices within the department.
