Junior / Trainee Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Junior / Trainee Electrical Estimator Location: Birmingham Salary: £38,000 + Package & Pension Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are a well-established electrical contractor based in Birmingham, looking for a Junior / Trainee Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical background who is looking to move off the tools or further develop their estimating career. You’ll be working on commercial and industrial projects, learning from experienced estimators, and gaining valuable hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in preparing electrical estimates and quotations * Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics * Carry out basic take-offs from drawings * Support senior estimators throughout the tender process * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing * Help with preparing and submitting tender documents Requirements: * Electrical background (on-site or office-based) * Ability to read and understand electrical drawings * Some knowledge or experience of take-offs * Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent) * Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn What We Offer: * Competitive salary of £37,000 * Full benefits package and pension * Career progression and development opportunities * Supportive and experienced team environment * Long-term, stable role with a reputable contractor
