Material Controller

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Materials Controller to their team on a permanent basis. You\’ll be based in the Laurencekirk area. Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 4pm Salary: £28K – £35K Daily Duties – Scheduling workload for rig returns area (Rig Prep / Inspection / Deterioration Monitoring Jobs) Job-specific cost analysis and reporting (rig prep / rig return / transport / cranes / labour etc) Assisting with conducting Monthly / Annual inventory counts and discrepancy reconciliation Preparing accurate Daily Movements reports, maintaining stock records, and document packages e.g. tallies, traceability reports Management of Customer Owned Inventory – condition status, usage, and movement, and reportsCandidate Requirements – Minimum 3 years\’ experience within a material control position Previous experience within a manufacturing or pipe yard environment Forklift licence (desirable) Driving LicenceIf you, or anyone you know would be suited to this role, please forward your up-to-date CV, salary expectations and notice period to
