A SEND school in Sunderland is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Supply Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This role will involve working with small class groups of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural difficulties. As part of an established and supportive team, the successful Supply Teacher will deliver a range of subjects and topics, tailored to meet the individual needs of the pupils. The school caters to a wide age range, so experience across Key Stages is beneficial, and adaptability is key. This is a long-term position starting in September 2025, with the potential to continue beyond.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
  • A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS/QTLS
