De-Coil Operative

We are seeking an experienced De-Coil Operator for our client located in the Dudley area. As a De-Coiler Operative, you must have a good knowledge of the steel industry with a minimum of 2 years experience operating a de-coiling line. Duties: Operating a de-coiling machine to flatten or level steel and metals Responsible for the running of the de-coiling line Managing a small team of 3 operatives Adhering to health and safety procedures Working Hours: The role requires working a weekly rotating double shift pattern 6:00 – 14:00 Mon to Fri and 14:00 – 22:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday 14:00 – 19:30. Overtime will be required from time to time which will include some weekends (paid at a premium rate) This role would be on a temporary permanent basis with a permanent position offered to the right candidate.
