We are seeking temporary Residential Childcare Officers with experience of working in a high support setting and/or with young people subject to DOLS orders to come and join our team in Jersey and assist us to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
Children and young people are at the heart of everything we do, and we have high expectations for those professionals supporting them. Our Secure Children's Home, which accommodates up to 6 children and young people, provides care for those on Secure Accommodation Orders and Youth Detention Orders.
As a Residential Child Care Officer, you will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure each child and young person is cared for within a safe, stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
Successful candidates will be committed to working therapeutically and restoratively with children, while demonstrating a clear child centred approach together with sound decision-making and risk assessment skills.
