Design Engineer

An exciting full time, permanent position for a Design Engineer has opened with a specialist civils contractor that was originally founded over 40 years ago, operating across the utility contracting and civil engineering sectors. This vacancy offers a great opportunity for an experienced Design professional to join a successful and growth business and take control of an influential role. Our client is offering a competitive package, circa £60,000 – £80,000 including 25 days leave + bank holidays, Pension scheme Company Car/ car allowance & more. Candidate Experience: Proficient use of SSEN industry standard electrical design. Experience in use of CAD software is preferable Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it. Proven experience in the design DNO energy related electrical systems. Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
