CNC Milling Operator – Night Shift An established precision engineering firm based in Coventry is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Operator to join their night shift team. This company has a strong reputation for delivering high-precision components to the aerospace and defence industries and operates with a modern suite of three, four, and five-axis machining centres.   The Role: You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-spec components to tight tolerances. The role involves working from complex engineering drawings and ensuring the highest quality is maintained throughout production.   Key Responsibilities: Operate and set CNC milling machines, including multi-axis machining centres Work from detailed technical drawings Conduct in-process inspections using standard measuring equipment Make necessary offsets or adjustments during production Maintain safe and clean working practices in line with company policy Requirements: Proven CNC milling experience within a precision engineering environment Comfortable working with tight tolerances and quality standards Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings Experience working with materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, brass, and Inconel is desirable Willingness to work permanent nights (e.g. 10pm – 6am, Monday to Friday) What’s On Offer: Competitive pay with night shift uplift Overtime available Clean, modern workshop environment with high-end machinery Long-term opportunity with a company that invests in people and technology
