The main purpose of the role will be to fulfil time critical AOG demands from our clients airline customers while working with the Operations Specialist Team Leader and team to ensure the group are delivering operational performance in accordance with contracted targets (KPIs) and obligations.
Person Specification:
- Providing 360 feedback to the Operations Specialist Team Leader where future improvements and changes to procedures will enhance the operation.
- Communication: maintain excellent communication with the customer throughout the life-cycle of an order, informing them of potential alternative solutions as required.
- Pro-actively engage with the allocated department managers to ensure implementation of all contractual requirements to guarantee customer satisfaction and contract performance.
- Identify at an early stage potential problems and risks, evaluate and anticipate implications and be proactive with all concerned parties in developing and defining contingency/recovery plans and actions.
- The exploration of potential market sources for new suppliers that could improve effectiveness, increase profitability or enable the company to embark on a wider range of activities should this be advantageous.
- Establish and maintain a high quality of service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring all interactions with customers are handled promptly and professionally, while encouraging a customer centric culture among the team.
- Oversee and participate in the training and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they are well-integrated into the team and fully understand the operational transactions.
- Fostering an environment that values the benefits of business continuity and productivity through continued office presence – interacting with colleagues face-to-face where applicable.
- As business needs dictate, the post holder may be required to undertake additional duties of a level commensurate with their existing responsibility.
Due to this role being solely night working, the candidate will need previous experience in the aviation industry (preferably AOG), preferably dealing with high-pressure customer needs (time sensitive). They will also need the ability to make smart decisions, as management will not be available during their working hours.
