Class 1 Driver

We are currently looking a skilled and motivated Class 1 Drivers to join our clients in Preston area. We have few clients with a mixture of general haulage and trunking. Start times across the day and night shift Monday to Friday and weekends Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate Class 1 vehicles. * Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service. * Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport. * Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members. * Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary. Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay): * £18.49/h days * £19.61/h nights * £20.73/h Saturday * £22.41/h Sunday Requirements: * Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card. * Experience in general haulage and tramping. * A clean driving record with no major endorsements. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
