Three-weekly rotating shifts, Monday – Friday: 06:30 – 15:00, 14:30 – 23:00, 22:30 – 07:00

We are looking for a senior Operative for a plastic Manufacturing company. You will be experienced in using manual and automated Injection Moulding machinery and able to stand in for the supervisor as needed.
Key duties:
- Perform mould changes, material and colour changes.
- Prepare equipment, tools, paperwork, and ancillary items for production setup.
- Monitor daily production and quality control records; identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure quality standards and production targets are consistently met.
- Operate machinery efficiently under pressure, minimizing downtime.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine housekeeping and maintenance of machinery and work areas.
- Carry out all necessary manual tasks associated with the moulding process.
- Report any potential issues with equipment, facilities, or safety to management.
- Provide performance feedback and assist in training new starters.
- Suggest improvements to safety, equipment, and operational procedures.
- Maintain and record health and safety checks.
- Provide cover for supervisors as needed.
