Altera Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a respected engineering solutions provider known for delivering high-quality design, build, and commissioning services across a variety of sectors, including utilities, defence, data, and industrial automation. Due to continued growth and new project wins, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their team and play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
  • Lead the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and health & safety documentation.
  • Provide on-site technical leadership, overseeing operatives and subcontractors during installation and commissioning.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and design teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Manage procurement processes and ensure all relevant project documentation is completed accurately.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in electrical trade (City & Guilds or equivalent) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in managing or supporting project delivery in electrical engineering environments.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) practices.
  • Effective communicator with leadership capabilities and confidence in client-facing roles.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
