About Our Client

Our prestigious FMCG client is seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join their dynamic Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values innovation and collaboration - and who is a market leader in their industry.

Role Overview

As a Supply Planner, you will oversee relationships with third-party partners, managing performance, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with company standards and policies. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align third-party strategy with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive projects for new third-party partnerships and SKU setup
  • Establish comprehensive timing plans for assigned projects, ensuring delivery within agreed deadlines
  • Confirm agreements with third parties that align with project objectives, budget, and timeline
  • Communicate effectively with third parties and internal stakeholders to monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide feedback
  • Evaluate the performance and quality of third parties, ensuring compliance with company standards and expectations
  • Identify and mitigate risks and challenges that may arise from third-party collaborations
  • Provide support and guidance to third parties and internal teams to foster collaboration and trust
  • Support demand planning and forecasting processes
  • Assist the department head with data analysis, report creation, and project work
  • Carry out additional duties as required to fulfill business needs

Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Solid understanding of third-party management best practices
  • MPS & MRP knowledge
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong Excel proficiency and analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Effective team player with collaborative approach

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Co-Packing operations
  • Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP systems
