We are working with a progressive Local Authority in the Midlands seeking an experienced Head of Finance for Corporate Services. This is a senior interim role offering the opportunity to lead on strategic financial planning and support critical corporate services, including HR, IT, Legal, and Democratic Services.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering sound financial management, enhancing service performance, and ensuring robust governance across all corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial strategy and planning across corporate service departments.
  • Provide high-level financial advice to senior stakeholders and service leads.
  • Ensure financial controls, compliance, and value for money in all operations.
  • Support the delivery of MTFS and contribute to budget-setting processes.

About You:
