We are working with a progressive Local Authority in the Midlands seeking an experienced Head of Finance for Corporate Services. This is a senior interim role offering the opportunity to lead on strategic financial planning and support critical corporate services, including HR, IT, Legal, and Democratic Services.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering sound financial management, enhancing service performance, and ensuring robust governance across all corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead financial strategy and planning across corporate service departments.
- Provide high-level financial advice to senior stakeholders and service leads.
- Ensure financial controls, compliance, and value for money in all operations.
- Support the delivery of MTFS and contribute to budget-setting processes.
- Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and monitoring.
