GSL Education are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join a reputable client school in Tunbridge Wells from September 2025. This Food Technology Teacher role is part-time and long-term, ideal for individuals dedicated to inspiring students through creative and engaging food and nutrition education.

The successful Food Technology Teacher will:

  • Have recent experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.

  • Be able to plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons that meet national curriculum standards.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and a commitment to student wellbeing and progress.

As a Food Technology Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing engaging food tech lessons and activities tailored to KS3 and KS4 learners.
  • Supporting students' personal development through practical cooking skills and nutritional education.
  • Maintaining health and safety standards within the classroom.
  • Collaborating with department colleagues to ensure high teaching standards are maintained.
