Being an EFL Teacher at PGL requires energy, confidence, and effort; but we guarantee itβs never, ever boring. Our EFL courses combine classroom-based English language lessons, sightseeing excursions, and outdoor activities to bring learning to life! You will prepare and deliver fun, engaging lessons to our international guests, both in the classroom and outdoors, encouraging and motivating them to improve their English skills. You will receive a 3-day induction and support from an on-site Director of Studies who will guide you through pre-written weekly or fortnightly programmes for you to deliver (A1-B2 level), with the option to include your own resources that meet our Can Do philosophy. Class sizes are a maximum of 15 students.
Are you a PGL person? You need your Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TSEOL or equivalent (PGCE in English/Modern Languages, Primary PGCE leading to QTS) along with previous teaching or training experience. Beyond your teaching skills, your character is what we value most. PGL people are:
