We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled SENCO to join a vibrant and inclusive school community in High Wycombe for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with additional needs.

About the Role
As SENCO, you will lead the school's SEND provision, ensuring that every student has access to a high-quality and personalised education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all aspects of SEN provision, including EHCPs, intervention strategies, and parental engagement.
- Coordinating with teachers, TAs, and external professionals to deliver tailored support.
- Conducting assessments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring statutory compliance.
- Leading INSET and professional development on inclusive practices.
- Overseeing provision mapping, funding applications, and annual reviews.
- Supporting whole-school inclusion strategy and working as part of the senior leadership team.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and significant experience working with students with SEND.
- National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete it).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of current legislation, inclusion strategies, and effective interventions.
Salary
Salary includes a leadership TLR – MPS/UPS + TLR, commensurate with experience.
