Are you an experienced technician with a passion for diagnostic manufacturing? We’re hiring a Senior Manufacturing Technician to join a growing technical production team focused on ELISA kit manufacturing and reagent preparation. If you’re detail-oriented, technically skilled, and confident supporting others, this could be the next step in your career.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the production of ELISA diagnostic kit components including plate coating, buffers, and controls
- Guiding and mentoring other manufacturing technicians to maintain best practices and high standards
- Supporting analytical processes and ensuring documentation, calibration, and data analysis are accurate and compliant
- Maintaining lab operations to GMP/GLP standards and ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Acting as deputy in the absence of the Manufacturing Supervisor
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a lab or manufacturing environment (minimum 12 months)
- Strong understanding of ELISA techniques and diagnostic product workflows
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP and clean lab practices
- A-levels (or equivalent) in a science or maths subject; a science degree is a bonus
- Confident in Excel, electronic records, and lab documentation
- Strong organisational skills and ability to train or mentor others
