Job Ad 2: Reception Teaching Assistant (Temporary-to-Permanent) Location: LS4, Leeds Contract: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Our friendly and inclusive primary school in LS4 is looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teaching Assistant to join us from September 2025. This is initially a temporary position, with the strong likelihood of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for early years education who enjoys supporting children during this vital stage of development. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and learning activities Working with small groups or one-to-one with pupils to support learning Helping to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment Assisting with phonics, early maths, and play-based learning Requirements: Experience working in an Early Years or Reception setting A patient, positive, and proactive attitude Good communication and organisational skills A genuine interest in early childhood education * Why work with Milk Education?
