Full or Part time – Sociable hours Monday to Saturday If you prefer to be self employed coming and going as you please, we can do a rent a chair or percentage system also. We are searching for an experienced and passionate hairstylist/ hairdresser to join our team at Sophisti-Cut. As part of the team you will play a crucial role, demonstrating your expertise across various techniques to offer our clients a wide range of services. You\’ll have the ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive experience for every client, encouraging client retention and referral, contributing to the overall success of our salon. Responsibilities * Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, perms and treatments tailored to individual client needs. * Maintain a clean and organised work station, ensuring all tools and products are properly sanitised. * Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on styles and products. * Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. * Assist with front desk duties when necessary, including scheduling appointments and managing client records. * Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes excellent customer service. The ideal candidate for this position: * Must have 3 + years experience * Or NVQ level 3 hair and beauty * Bold and confident in colouring, cutting and styling. * Strong communication skills * Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and products. * Experience in barbering is advantageous but not essential. * Ability to upsell products and services effectively. * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour. * A self motivated team player.
