After an initial period of on-the-job training, the Field Service Engineer will carry out both planned and unplanned breakdown repairs for customers throughout Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset, South Wales, and parts of Wiltshire. The role includes being part of the on-call rota, consisting of 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend in every 5.
Qualifications:
- Ideally qualified to NVQ level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery, or a related subject.
- Comfortable using mechanical hand tools.
- Experience in servicing, repairing, or maintaining mechanical equipment, machinery, vehicles, or plant is preferred.
- A basic understanding of hydraulics and fault finding on 12 & 24-volt electrics is an advantage.
