As a result of the continued success of their Asbestos Removal Services, our Client is currently recruiting for a qualified Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join their team in the Yorkshire region. They are looking for an enthusiastic and loyal individual to oversee and carry out non-licensed asbestos removal works. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards at all times preventing and reducing the spread and/or exposure of asbestos.
- Complying at all times with company method statements, risk assessments, policies and procedures to ensure the health, safety, welfare and security of all.
- Assisting the Senior Asbestos Removal Project Manager with creating Risk Assessments, Method Statements and work instructions that actively improve the health, safety and welfare of all.
- Ensuring compliance with all current asbestos and health and safety legislative requirements.
- Professionally liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders at all times.
- Completing and signing all relevant paperwork to ensure all legislative, licensable and financial requirements are met.
- Leading, monitoring and assessing workforce on an ongoing basis to ensure staff are capable of performing the tasks they are allocated by completing a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) on site based staff under your supervision and providing feedback to the Senior Asbestos Removal Project Manager.

Person Specification:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Asbestos Removal Supervisor (or a candidate that can demonstrate breadth of experience and qualifications as required by industry standards) and possess the following attributes:
- Have an excellent understanding of Health and Safety with respect to asbestos related works.
- Competent in completing, understanding, and strictly abiding to method statements, risk assessments, company policies and procedures.
- Hold a full clean driving license.
- Delivering good customer service in a timely and professional manner.
- Excellent communication, client liaison and report writing skills with a keen focus on attention to detail.
- Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- IT literate.
What We Can Offer You:
- Competitive salary between £34,340.80 to £37,980.80 per annum dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
- Generous out of hours policy, time and a half in the week and £25 per hour on a weekend (minimum of 4 hours paid).
