Watermeadow Grange in Topsham, Exeter is a beautiful care home providing 86 spacious ensuite bedrooms including a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia.
We are looking for a General Assistant to work between 8am-2pm, weekends only. This is a generic role that involves assisting across Catering and Housekeeping teams. You may be required to help at mealtimes, clearing and cleaning tables, serving food and keeping the dining areas tidy at all times. Assistance will also be required with general housekeeping duties – cleaning, polishing and laundry help.
You will need to be reliable and hardworking as the role involves multi-tasking across all non-care duties. A friendly, caring and empathetic nature is required as you will be liaising closely with our residents.
This is a great opportunity as an introduction to working in a care environment.
