As a Chemistry Teacher / Head of Chemistry, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and rigorous lessons across KS3 to KS5 Chemistry.
- Leading and supporting the Chemistry department (for Head of Chemistry applicants), ensuring consistently high standards of teaching and learning.
- Preparing students for internal and external examinations, including A-Level.
- Contributing to curriculum development, enrichment opportunities, and departmental planning.
- Participating fully in the wider life of the school, including staff meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.
To be considered for the Chemistry Teacher / Head of Chemistry role, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualifications.
- Have a strong academic background in Chemistry or a related subject.
- Demonstrate experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level, ideally including A-Level.
- Have leadership experience or the capability to lead a department (for Head of Chemistry applicants).
- Be committed to maintaining high academic standards and promoting student engagement.
