Deputy Headteacher

Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced Deputy Headteacher for a new job based in an alternative provision in Westbury, Wiltshire (BA13 3BR).

Position Details

1. Full-time role, with options for temporary (immediate) or permanent (from June or September 2025) placement.
2. School caters to pupils with SEMH aged 7 to 17, with up to 16 students.
3. Part of a national trust supporting children with complex behaviors and needs.

Candidate Requirements

1. Relevant UK-based teaching and/or leadership qualification.
2. Significant experience working within a SEND education setting, particularly SEMH.
3. All documentation for safer recruitment, including right to work proof and Enhanced DBS.
4. Exceptional references.

Additional Information

Visits and informal meetings can be arranged with the Headteacher or Regional Education Director. The role aims to strengthen the team and support the school\’s growth. The school emphasizes supporting children with trauma and adverse childhood experiences, fostering self-belief and effective learning.

Proposed start date: ASAP
Salary: £250 – £300 per day
