Location – Hampshire SP10

Contract – Temporary (Ongoing)

Hours – Full Time (37 hours per week)

Salary – £36.66 per hour LTD / £29.26 per hour PAYE

Role summary – We are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Manager to lead and manage a comprehensive Housing and Neighbourhood Management service. This role is pivotal in delivering an efficient, effective, and customer-focused service, while supporting and developing the Neighbourhood team. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that estates and tenancies are managed to a high standard, promoting customer satisfaction and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Neighbourhood team including Senior Neighbourhood Officers, Housing Officers, and Assistants.
  • Ensure delivery of a safety-first and rent-first landlord strategy.
  • Oversee housing KPIs, compliance, and budgetary performance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex housing management and service delivery issues.
  • Deliver operational housing and tenancy management, including neighbourhood inspections and safeguarding.
  • Foster relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders.
  • Lead on risk-based neighbourhood inspections and serious case reviews.
  • Promote continuous improvement and strategic change through policy review and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in housing and neighbourhood management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of housing legislation, safeguarding and tenancy sustainment.
  • Experience managing complex and emotive cases with empathy and professionalism.
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in housing or related field.
