06:00 – 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00 

Annual Salary – £47,000

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join our well-established client based in Middlewich on a full-time permanent basis.

Day to Day Duties

As a Multiskilled Engineer, your duties will involve: 

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical PPM activities in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems.
• Ensuring on-site Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and maintaining accurate records/documentation associated with the PPM and plant maintenance.
• Responding promptly and effectively to all electrical and mechanical-related reactive maintenance issues.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical and mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Coordinating visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical and mechanical aspects of the PPM schedules.
• Conducting fault diagnosis and repairs on systems including Heating, Ventilation, and Building Services.
• Assisting with the installation, modification, or commissioning of new equipment as required.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
• Completing accurate time-sheets and reports as required by management.
• Adhering to security policies and procedures.
• Other duties as requested

It would be desirable as a Multiskilled Engineer if you: 

• Have knowledge of the 18th Edition rules and regulations of wiring
• FMCG or regulatory environment experience
