My FMCG client are looking for a Content Executive to join their growing team in Oxfordshire. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about crafting content that performs - balancing search engine optimisation (SEO) with user experience (UX) principles to drive engagement, conversions, and brand affinity. You'll be working across digital platforms, producing everything from landing page copy and blog content to email campaigns and brochures. A flair for creative, compelling storytelling is a must, along with a practical understanding of tools like Microsoft Office, Canva, or Adobe InDesign.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and optimise on-brand content for websites, blogs, email, social media, and marketing materials.
- Ensure all content is SEO-optimised using relevant tools and techniques (keywords, meta tags, headers, etc.).
- Apply UX best practices to create user-centred content that improves readability, navigation, and conversions.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and development teams to deliver cohesive, multi-platform campaigns.
- Maintain and update the content calendar in alignment with marketing goals and product releases.
- Repurpose long-form content into shorter assets like infographics, email snippets, and social posts.
- Use Canva, InDesign, or other design tools to support content with simple visuals and layouts.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in content writing, copy writing, or digital marketing.
- A solid grasp of SEO and/or UX writing principles.
- Exceptional written English - creative, engaging, and adaptable across formats and tones.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and at least one design tool like Canva or Adobe InDesign.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and basic understanding of HTML is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Full UK driving license and vehicle to get to site.
