Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor with Counterbalance Forklift
Location: Swindon
Salary: 32,000 per annum
Shift: Nights (No weekends)

Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a Counterbalance Forklift license to join our team in Swindon. This role is perfect for someone with excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to manage and motivate a team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety guidelines.

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move and organize stock, ensuring all goods are stored correctly and easily accessible.

• Monitor stock levels and ensure that inventory is accurately recorded and updated in the system.

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse at all times, adhering to health and safety standards.

• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure they meet productivity and quality targets.

• Implement and maintain efficient processes to improve warehouse operations, reducing delays and errors.

• Ensure all shipments are processed and dispatched on time, coordinating with other departments as needed.

• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Handle any issues related to warehouse operations, providing solutions and escalating when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (essential).

• Previous experience in a warehouse or supervisory role is highly preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and health and safety regulations.

• Ability to work night shifts with no weekends.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• A proactive approach to continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.
