Eden Brown Synergy is working in partnership with Knowsley Council to recruit an Experienced Social Worker for their CHILDREN IN CARE AND CARE EXPERIENCED PEOPLE on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner passionate about supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Holding a caseload of Looked after Children
  • Undertaking Core Assessments
  • Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries
  • Undertaking Viability Assessments
  • Undertaking Kinship Assessments
  • Undertaking Risk Assessments
  • Producing Annex B reports
  • Undertaking Regulation 38 Assessments
  • Undertaking Special Guardian Assessments
  • Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples needs
  • Preparing & implementing Care Plans
  • Attending court and giving evidence when required
  • Obtaining Interim Care Orders/Interim Supervision Orders
  • Initiating Care Proceedings
  • Completion of Care Proceedings
  • Obtaining Special Guardianship Orders
  • Producing Child Permanency Reports
