Floating Support Worker - Dadzclub

Get paid to support fun Saturday morning playgroups! Location: Southampton Family Hubs (Clovelly, Pickles Coppice & Blackberry – rotating weekly) Hours: 5 per week (Saturday mornings) Pay: £12.60 per hour (£3,276 per year) Contract: 1 year (extension subject to funding) About the role: We’re looking for a reliable, friendly Floating Support Worker to join our Dadzclub team! You’ll rotate between locations and help run our Saturday morning groups for dads and their children — providing vital cover and support for our Project Workers. ● Assist with planning and delivering fun activities ● Help set up and tidy up the group ● Prepare healthy snacks and refreshments ● Support dads with advice and signposting ● Record simple attendance/admin ● Step in to cover staff absence when needed Who we\’re looking for: ● Someone passionate about supporting families ● A confident communicator with adults and children ● Friendly, flexible, reliable and positive ● Available most Saturday mornings ● Experience working with children or families is helpful, but the right attitude is what matters most!
