The Company & Role

We are partnered with a leading Train Operator in the UK. They are looking to hire a Reporting and Investigation Standards Manager to improve & monitor internal processes for the reporting and investigation of Health, Safety and Environmental Events (accidents, incidents, near misses and close calls). This person will be instrumental in ensuring that all HSE events are reported in a timely manner, in accordance with internal and statutory reporting criteria and working with Investigators to ensure the delivery of quality investigations that eliminate or reduce the risk of recurrence.

The Opportunity

Essential Criteria

  • Ideally have a background in Incident reporting/response, Quality, Auditing or similar position
  • Experience working with stakeholders on all levels
  • Team player and ability to work independently
  • Experience of leading and participating in projects
  • Ability to analyse, summarise and communicate technical information
  • Microsoft office application experience
  • Accurate data recording with good attention to detail

Location

York office with up to 2 days at home per week.

Salary & Package

£40,600 p/ year (12-month contract)

Free Rail Travel on owned lines

Generous Pension Scheme

25 days + 8 bank holidays annual leave
