Full Job Description

Are you a New Grad Veterinary Surgeon looking to be part of a supportive, dynamic and highly skilled veterinary team? This could be just the role you are looking for.

Our client is an independent practice, established over 100 years ago and has gained an amazing reputation for providing outstanding level of care to the animal population of the North East of England. The practices are well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental equipment, ECG and extensive in-house lab facilities.

They offer a top quality, modern medicine and surgery facilities in a excellent location with good transport links to city centres and the coast.

The role is for a mixed animal or small animal – 80% small, 10% equine, 10% farm mix or small animal only. Both accommodation and a car are available.

This fantastic programme also offers you the chance to go to Spain and volunteer a neuter clinic if that appeals.

In addition to the support and training you will gain of working with experienced vets you will further benefit from:

  • Starting salary – £39,000 for 5 days and 4 days 34,500K
  • Minimum of 6 weeks annual paid leave
  • Birthday given off (on successful completion of 6-month probationary review)
  • Profit sharing scheme (on successful completion of 6-month probationary review)
  • 12-month review, resulting in salary increase
  • Annual salary reviews thereafter
  • No sole charge on call work
