Our client is a dynamic and successful recruitment company specializing in placing top-tier talent within the private equity sector. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Web & IT Assistant to provide crucial support to our team.

About the Role:

This is a varied and hands-on role perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in both web administration and IT support within a professional office setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our website, providing first-line IT support to our team, and contributing to various technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Maintenance & Administration:

  • Updating website content (text, images, job postings) accurately and efficiently using our Content Management System (CMS).
  • Ensuring website functionality, identifying and reporting any technical issues.
  • Liaising with external web developers for more complex updates and projects.
  • Monitoring website analytics and providing basic reports.

IT Support:

  • Providing first-line technical support to staff on hardware (laptops, printers, mobile devices), software (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems), and network issues.
  • Troubleshooting basic IT problems and escalating complex issues to external IT support providers.
  • Setting up new user accounts and managing access permissions.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of IT equipment and inventory.
  • Ensuring data security and adherence to IT policies.

General Administrative & Technical Tasks:

  • Assisting with the setup and maintenance of video conferencing and presentation equipment.
  • Managing software licenses and subscriptions.
  • Contributing to ad-hoc technical projects as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records of IT issues and resolutions.

About You:

  • A strong interest in web technologies and IT support.
  • Basic experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
  • Good understanding of basic IT principles and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability 1 to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with HTML

Experience with CMS and CRM platforms

Experience with Data visualisations tools
