Job Description\\n\\nHospital Engineer\\n\\nLocation – Clifton Park Hospital – York\\n\\nFull Time – 37.5hrs per week (On Call Alternate Weeks)\\n\\nSummary: \\n\\nClifton Park Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading independent healthcare providers in England.\\n\\nThe hospital opened in 2006 and is located just outside of York, it has built an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.\\n\\nThe role: \\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for a Hospital Engineer to join our team, the core responsibilities include the following:\\n\\nEnsure legal compliance through planned preventative maintenance and reactive works across sites.\\n\\nThe provision of Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to the hospitals\\n\\nProvide competent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support & assistance.\\n\\nManage, lead and support hospitals maintenance engineer in carrying out their role.\\n\\nReview fault logs and allocate appropriate resources to each task within area of responsibility.\\n\\nLiaise regularly with internal and external customers.\\n\\nBe available for on call cover alternate weeks.\\n\\nTo liaise with Contractors and sign permits for minor repair and replacement works.\\n\\nWhat you’ll bring with you:\\n\\nA Passion to deliver excellent standards of work.\\n\\nExcellent communication skills\\n\\nGood fault-finding skills\\n\\nAble work as part of a team but also initiative to work independently.\\n\\nThe ability to make decisions and use your initiative.\\n\\nA flexible and positive attitude\\n\\nUnderstanding of Health and safety\\n\\nExperience in line managing in a Maintenance Environment\\n\\nCity & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NCQ Level 4 or equivalent preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering\\n\\nExcellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills\\n\\nUnderstanding of Legionella prevention requirements within hospital buildings\\n\\nDemonstrated high level of organization & time management skills, particularly in an environment with multiple, and sometimes conflicting priorities\\n\\nSound fault finding techniques\\n\\nDesirable Skills:\\n\\nAP/MGPS Medical Gases\\n\\nAP/Decontamination\\n\\nIOSH Health and Safety / Risk Assessment Training\\n\\nL/ACOP Legionella Training\\n\\nBenefits: \\n\\n25 Days Leave + Bank Holidays\\n\\nPrivate Pension where Ramsay will match up to 5% after a qualifying period\\n\\nFlexible shift patterns available where possible\\n\\nEnhanced Competitive Parental Leave Policies\\n\\nPrivate Medical Cover with option to add partner & dependants\\n\\nLife Assurance (Death in Service) x3 base salary\\n\\nFree Training and Development via the Ramsay Academy\\n\\nFree Parking on site (where possible)\\n\\nSubsidised staff restaurant (where possible)\\n\\nConcerts for Carers\\n\\nEmployee Assistance Programme\\n\\nCycle2Work scheme available, in partnership with Halfords\\n\\nThe Blue Light Card Scheme\\n\\nAbout Us:\\n\\nRamsay Health Care UK is a well-established global hospital group with over 50 years’ experience.
