Are you passionate about outdoor education and working with young people? We are looking for a dedicated Outdoor Activity Instructor to join a Secondary Alternative Provision in Blackburn. If you have a love for outdoor activities and a commitment to supporting students' personal and educational growth, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate outdoor education sessions, promoting teamwork, resilience, and self-confidence
  • Plan and deliver a variety of outdoor activities, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants
  • Support students in developing practical life skills through outdoor learning
  • Work closely with teaching staff to integrate outdoor learning with students' broader educational goals

  • Experience in leading outdoor activities, either in a school or youth-focused environment (desirable)
  • A passion for working with young people, particularly those with additional educational needs
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to student well-being
