About
Our client is looking for a talented 3D Draughtsperson with a background in bespoke joinery to bring experience, detail and passion to the current team.
You will be reporting to the Design Manager in a full time and permanent role within a stunning working environment.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience as a joinery Draughtsperson within the interior fit-out or bespoke joinery sector is preferable – hands on experience from the shopfloor / fitting / CNC etc also advantageous
- Proficient in Inventor or similar 3D software packages (i.e. SolidWorks)
- 2D AutoCAD is not crucial, but would be beneficial
- Strong understanding of joinery construction techniques, materials and finishes
- Ability to read and translate architectural / design drawings into workshop ready documents.
- Attention to detail, organisation and time management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
- Working for a host of high-end main contractors, architects and end clients on award winning schemes within a fast paced and constantly evolving industry.
- Produce accurate and detailed joinery workshop drawings for bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and interior fit-out elements.
- Interpret architectural and design intent drawings into technical shop drawings for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and workshop teams to ensure buildability and material suitability.
- Maintain drawing documentation and produce CNC geometries for nesting
- Attend site meetings and surveys where required to support project delivery
