Head of Production (Manchester Area)

Walker Cole International has been retained to search for a Head of Production to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Manchester area.

As the Head of Production, you will oversee and lead a large operational function, taking responsibility for the delivery of the operational strategy on site to achieve company objectives.

Your responsibilities as the Head of Production will be:

• Overall responsibility for all Operational functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, HSE, Procurement, Planning, Warehouse)
• Setting annual site operational strategy and budget plan and owning delivery
• Delivering operational excellence objectives and supporting continuous improvement
• Managing and coaching business unit leads

The successful candidate for the Head of Production position will demonstrate the following:

• Extensive consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing industry experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a manufacturing operations environment
• GMP knowledge
