Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a well respected, and established law firm in the recruitment of a Medical Negligence Legal Assistant/Secretary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality administrative support to the medical negligence solicitors and legal team.
  • Managing client correspondence, ensuring that all queries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
  • Organising and maintaining legal documents, ensuring all records are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Drafting legal documents, including letters, reports, and claims, under the direction of solicitors.
  • Liaising with clients, healthcare providers, and other relevant parties.
  • Assisting with case management, including preparing documents for hearings and meetings.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism and care.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • It is essential that you have previous experience working in a legal assistant or secretary role, within medical negligence, personal injury or general litigation.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is desirable but not essential.
