A well-established and growing accountancy firm is looking to appoint a Client Portfolio Manager to join their team, with the opportunity to be based in Exeter. This is a varied and client-focused role involving the management of a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nReviewing and planning accounts work for a mixed client portfolio\\n\\nSupporting and mentoring junior staff, including budget planning and file reviews\\n\\nLiaising directly with clients to resolve queries and finalise accounts\\n\\nPreparing management accounts and offering insightful commentary\\n\\nHandling tax planning (personal and corporate), dividends, and VAT reviews\\n\\nAdvising clients on tax liabilities and providing ad hoc financial guidance\\n\\nAttending client meetings (both in person and online)\\n\\nOverseeing deadlines, workflow, and billing across the portfolio\\n\\nWhat Our Client is Looking For:\\n\\nACA/ACCA qualified with experience in a similar role within practice\\n\\nStrong communication and organisational skills\\n\\nConfidently managing client relationships and leading a team\\n\\nFamiliarity with cloud-based systems like Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage is desirable\\n\\nExperience with Digita or CCH is a bonus, not essential\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer:\\n\\nCompetitive salary and bonus scheme\\n\\n22+ days holiday (plus bank holidays), increasing with service\\n\\nUp to 5% employer pension contribution\\n\\nFlexibility around working patterns, including part-home working\\n\\nCareer development, paid training, and support for further progression\\n\\nIf this role is something which suits what you are looking for in your next career move, then please do apply or get in touch
