Our client is a leading manufacturer who is currently recruiting for a Process operator to join their busy production facility. This is a pivotal position within their production process ensuring their facility operates safely and efficiently. Candidates will have worked in a similar position previously and will be used to juggling a multitude of tasks within any point.
Main duties will include:
- Manufacturing, drying and packaging materials
- Operating equipment
- Monitoring equipment
- Reporting any issues or defects to management
- Working to production schedules to ensure that customer orders are being fulfilled and dispatched in a timely manner.
Candidate Attributes:
- Minimum of 4 GCSE’s or 1 – 2 years experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of Office 365
- Understanding of hazards and safety protocols when working with potentially hazardous chemicals
- 3 – 5 years experience in an industrial production environment
