The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) provides expert clinical care across a broad spectrum of healthcare needs. Working autonomously or collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, the ANP assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients, offering high-level clinical decision-making and leadership within their area of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with complex health needs.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with professional guidelines and local policies.
- Provide patient education and health promotion to support prevention and self-management of chronic conditions.
- Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice.
