EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading global precision manufacturer that supplies complex components to the Aerospace, Defence and Power industries. Due to the recent fast-paced growth of the business, our client is looking for TIG Welders to join their manufacturing department.
What do you get?
- Stability / Longevity
- Competitive hourly rate: up to £18 per hour
- Day shift - 07.00 to 16.00 or 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07.00 to 12.00 on Fridays, with designated breaks
- Overtime is available at premium rates

Your responsibilities as a TIG Welder include:
- Welds sheet metal and machined parts per procedures.
- Reads data cards/drawings for machine setup.
- Sets up machines with required tooling/fixturing.
- Completes welding efficiently to meet output.
- Skilled in TIG, measuring, and hand tools.
What experience as a TIG Welder do you need?
- Minimum 3 years experience working on precision engineering components within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience working to Aerospace standards
- Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings with welding symbols/WPS
- Capable of working with thin gauge materials (0.4mm - 1mm)
- Worked with small to medium-sized parts (12" - 14")
- Experienced in performing various welding techniques
