Inspire Creativity and Innovation as an Art & Design Technology (DT) Teacher in Ashford!

Location: Ashford, Kent

Salary: £150 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)

Commencement: September 2025

Working Days: Monday and Friday

Your Mission as an Art & DT Teacher:

  • Design and deliver engaging Art and DT lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning
  • Teach students aged 11–16, helping them explore a wide range of artistic and design techniques
  • Organise and support extracurricular activities, exhibitions, and design challenges that celebrate student creativity
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor your teaching to meet individual learning needs
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and confident to express themselves
  • Promote safe practices in all creative and technical activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology is essential
  • Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
  • A passion for motivating students to explore their creative potential
  • A commitment to fostering curiosity and problem-solving through art and design
  • Additional training or qualifications in creative arts or design (desirable but not essential)
