I'm currently recruiting for a friendly well established Law firm in Farnborough who is looking for a Legal secretary to join their busy Family Team. This role would suit either a Graduate looking to start their career in Family Law or a Legal secretary, and it is a full time office based role.
Daily duties will include:
- Typing, including maintenance of precedent files and adequate back-ups
- Filing/maintenance of files
- Management of Fee Earnersβ diaries
- Resolving telephone enquiries
- Client liaison
- Utilising all computer and software systems within the office after appropriate training
- General support of Department
- General support for other Departments when necessary (e.g. in the event of sickness, absence on holiday cover or pressure of work)
- Post cover where necessary
- Liaising with Office Junior regarding photocopying requirements and, where necessary (i.e. due to absence or workload of Office Junior) to carry out photocopying
- Working in tandem with other staff in the Department
- Reception cover where necessary
- Any other duties as reasonably directed by the Partners.
